Es wird gezeigt, daß die Selbstinduktion eines Solenoids \(=4\pi n^2\cdot q\cdot l \cdot L\) ist, wobei \(n\) die Anzahl der Windungen pro Längeneinheit, \(q\) der Querschnitt, \(l\) die Länge und \(L\) eine Funktion der Winkelöffnung ist. Zur Berechnung von \(L\) werden Formel abgeleitet und Tabellen gegeben.
