Der Titel der Abhandlung giebt eine hinreichende Bezeichnung ihres Inhaltes; doch ist auch noch eine Uebersicht von Entwickelungen zugefügt, die in Lehrbüchern nur selten beigegeben werden. Von besonderem Interesse sind die Anwendungen auf photographische Linsen.
