Ein sehr einfaches Verfahren zur Lösung der Aufgabe, einen Kreis zu beschreiben, der drei gegebene Kreise berührt. Die Anzahl und die Natur der Lösungen werden aus geometrischen Betrachtungen klar dargelegt, und mehrere Tafeln mit der Angabe der Lösungen sind zugefügt.
