Bezeichnet man die betreffende Function mit \(P_n(\cos\theta)\), so giebt die Tafel die Werte von \(P_n\) für \(n=1,2,3,4,5,6,7\) von \(\theta=0^\circ\) bis \(\varTheta=90^\circ\), von Grad zu Grad auf vier Decimalstellen. Einige elementare Beispiele ihres Gebrauchs sind zugefügt.
