Es seien \[ f(x) = \sum^{\infty}_{0}\;\frac{A_p}{p!}\;x^p; \quad R(x) = \sum^{\infty}_{0}\;\frac{B_p}{p!}\;x^p \] Functionen von \(x\), die in der ganzen Ebene holomorph sind; es sei \[ R_{-n}(x) = \sum^{\infty}_{0}\;\frac{B_p}{(n+p)!}\;x^p \] das ``Integral \(n^{\text{ter}}\) Ordnung von \(R(x)\)''; es sei die Reihe \(B_0 + B_1t + B_2t^2 + B_3t^3 + \cdots\) für alle Werte von \(t\) convergent und stelle eine Function von \(t\) dar, welche keine Nullpunkte besitzt, mithin von der Form \(e^{\varphi (t)}\) ist. Leitet man dann für \(e^{-\varphi (t)}\) die Reihe \(B_0' + B_1' + B_2't^2 + B_3't^3 + \cdots\) ab und setzt: \[ C_p = A_0B_p + A_1B_{p-1} + A_2B_{p-2} + \cdots + A_pB_0, \] so kann die Function \(f(x)\) in die nach den Integralen \(R_{-n}'(x)\) der Function \[ R'(x) = \sum^{\infty}_{0}\;\frac{B_p'}{p!}\;x^p \] fortschreitende Reihe \[ f(x) = \sum^{\infty}_{0}\;C_nR_{-n}'(x) \] entwickelt werden.
