In der ersten Note werden alle Fälle angegeben, in denen das Product zweier Integrale der Differentialgleichung \[ x (1 - x) \; y'' + (\gamma - (\alpha + \beta + 1) \; x) \; y' - \alpha \beta y = 0 \] gleich einer ganzen Function ist; in der zweiten alle Fälle, in welchen obige Gleichung ein Integral von der Form \[ Xy' + Yy = 0 \] oder \[ Xy' y' + Yy' y + Zyy = 0 \] zulässt, wo \( X, Y, Z \) rationale Functionen von \( x \) bedeuten (siehe Chark. Ges. 2, 51--62 (1887); 2, 95--113 (1887; JFM 19.0330.02).
