Es wird eine Relation zwischen \[ \left( \left( \frac{n}{m+2\lambda n} \right) \right) \quad \text{und} \quad \left( \left( \frac nm \right) \right) \] mit Zuhülfenahme der geometrischen Darstellung complexer Zahlen abgeleitet. Aus dieser Relation ergeben sich dann durch geeignete Specialisirungen die einzelnen Fälle des Reciprocitätsgesetzes.
