Für \[ \frac 1a +\frac 1{a+b} +\frac 1{a+2b}+\dotsm +\frac 1{a+(n-1)b} \] werden zwei Ausdrücke gegeben, von denen der eine der Quotient zweier Determinanten, der andere eine Determinante dividirt durch das Product \(a(a+2b)\{ a+(n-1)b \}\) ist.
