Eine Curve \(n^{\text{ten}}\) Grades wird durch die \(n^2\) Schnittpunkte der \(n^2\) Linien \(A, B, C, \ldots\) mit den \(n\) Linien \(A', B', C', \ldots\) gelegt. Sind dann \(P\) und \(Q\) irgend zwei Asymptoten, so ist \[ \frac{\sin PA . \sin PB . \sin PC\ldots}{\sin QA . \sin QB. \sin QC \ldots} = \frac{\sin PA' . \sin PB' . \sin PC' \ldots}{\sin QA' . \sin QB' . \sin QC' \ldots}. \]
