Let \(D= \{z\in \mathbb{C}:| z|<1\}\) be the unit disk and \(H(D)\) be the set of analytic functions in \(D\). For \(\alpha> 0\), let \(B^\alpha\) denote the set of \(f\in H(D)\) such that \[ \| f\|_\alpha= | f(0)|+ \sup_{z\in D} (1-| z|^2)^\alpha| f'(t)|< \infty. \] \(B^\alpha\) is called the generalized Bloch space. In Section 2, of the present paper, the authors characterize the set \((B^\alpha, B^\beta)\), the set of coefficient multipliers from \(B^\alpha\) to \(B^\beta\), for \(0< \alpha,\,\beta<\infty\). These turn out to be the set of \(g\in H(D)\) with \(M_1(r,D^1q)= O((1- r)^{\alpha-\beta-1})\); this set also characterizes \((B^\alpha_0, B^\beta_0)\), where \[ B^\alpha_0= \Biggl\{f\in B^\alpha: \lim_{| z|\to 1} (1-| z|^2)^\alpha| f'(t)|= 0\Biggr\}. \] In Section 3, the authors characterize the set \(M(B^\alpha, B^\beta)\), the set of pointwise multipliers from \(B^\alpha\) to \(B^\beta\), for \(0< \alpha,\,\beta<\infty\). The particular results depend on the relation between \(\alpha\) and \(\beta\); for example, if \(0<\beta<\alpha\) and \(\alpha,\beta\neq 1\), then \(M(B^\alpha, B^\beta)= \{h\in H(D): h(\tau)= 0\) for all \(z\in\mathbb{D}\}\); if \(\beta\geq \alpha> 1\), then \(M(B^\alpha, B^\beta)= \{g\in H(D):| q(z)|= O((1-| z|)^{\alpha-\beta})\}\). Other restrictions on \(\alpha\) and \(\beta\) are considered. In Section 4, various sufficient conditions for cyclicity of functions in \(B^\alpha\) are considered. Among the results given are that if \(f,g\in B^\alpha\), \(0< \alpha<\infty\), \(| f(z)|\geq| q(t)|\) in \(D\) and \(g\) is cyclic, then \(f\) is also cyclic. Also, if \(f\in B^\alpha\), \(0<\alpha<\infty\), \(\alpha\neq 1\), \(| f(z)|\geq c> 0\) in \(D\), then \(1/f\) is cyclic in \(B^\alpha\). Several of the results achieved are analogous to those for \(B= B^1\) given in earlier papers.
