Cubature formulas on a sphere that are invariant with respect to octahedron rotation groups (Q1569312)

In the paper an algorithm for constructing cubature formulas on a sphere that are invariant with respect to octahedron rotation groups is suggested. This algorithm is applied to construct new cubatures of the 11th, 19th, 23rd, 27th, 31st, and 35th orders of accuracy. Parameters of these cubatures are given to 16 significant digits and are superior to those of the existing cubatures of the same accuracy that are invariant with respect to the rotation group of regular polyhedra.
