A rapidly converging iterative method with a splitting of the boundary conditions for a Stokes-type system with a singular parameter under the periodicity condition with respect to one coordinate are considered. Bilinear finite element realizations for these methods are experimentally investigated. An optimized multigrid method is applied to solve the split problems. These methods guarantee a second order of accuracy with respect to the mesh step for the velocity and pressure.
