The author deal with the map \[ x_{n+1}=x_n+ \Omega+{A\over 2 \pi}\sin 2\pi x_n+B\sin 2\pi\theta_n,\;\theta_{n+1}= \theta_n+2 \tag{1} \] which can be considered the natural extension of the Arnold circle map. A natural step in the analysis of (1) is to determine the nature of the mode-locked regions in parameter space \[ L_{r_1,r_2}= \Bigl\{(\alpha, \Omega,A,B) \mid\rho= r_1\alpha +r_2,\;r_i\in Q,i=1,2\Bigr\}. \] The main goal of this paper is to provide some details of these regions. Using a mixture of analytic and numerical techniques the authors show that the mode-locked regions of quasiperiodically forced Arnold circle maps form complicated sets in parameter space.
