In connection with the mathematical modeling of a tunnel diode and other problems in solid-state physics, many studies have been devoted to the numerical solution of Neumann-Liouville equation. One of the popular schemes for numerical experiments with the Neumann-Liouville equation is as follows. A quantum mechanical system with the Hamiltonian \(H=H_0+V\) is considered, in which the potential \(V\) can be treated as a perturbation. An observable \(A\) is considered such that the initial and final stages of its evolution are described quite well by the Hamiltonian \(H_0\). The problem of evaluating \(A\) is equivalent to the problem of evaluating the asymptotics of the solution to Neumann-Liouville equation. Thus, in this papper the scattering problem is considered and the scattering matrix for the Neumann-Liouville equation is calculated.
