The author considers a multiparameter class of difference schemes for linear transport equations involving the terms simulating friction and heat transfer. It is established that the presence of such terms in difference equations considerably changes the stability conditions. It is shown that the inclusion of a solution-dependent term into the well-known Lax linear scheme may lead to the absolute instability of this scheme. The method of taking into account the source term in the Godunov scheme is analyzed for the case of a substantial difference in inertial properties of phases. A proper defference scheme is constructed to compute heterogeneous wave flows characterized by intense phase interaction.
