This note deals with direct methods for solving a system of linear equation having matrices with quaternion entries as coefficients and right-hand terms. It is shown that in the case of the coefficient matrix being a block, tridiagonal block, with symmetric matrix (of order \(n\)) of a very special form it is possible to apply Chebyshev polynomials to compute determinants.
