The authors study increasing functions \(P,Q: [0,\infty )\rightarrow [0,\infty )\). Let \(S\) be the Calderón operator defined on positive decreasing functions, then they prove modular inequalities \(\int P(Sf)\leq C\int Q(f)\). The results are used to obtain weak type interpolation theorems for modular spaces.
