The author studies the practical stability [\textit{J. Lasalle} and \textit{S. Lefschetz}, Stability by Lyapunov's direct method with applications. New York and London: Academic Press (1961; Zbl 0098.06102)] of the equilibrium solution \(x=0\) to the dynamical system \[ {dx\over dt}= f(x,t),\quad f(0,t)= 0,\quad f\in C^r[B\times \mathbb{R}^+, \mathbb{R}^n],\quad \mathbb{R}^+= [0,\infty),\quad B\subset \mathbb{R}^n, \] under the influence of a permanently acting perturbation \(p(x,t)\), with \(\|p(x,t)\|\leq\delta\). The known practical stability criteria in terms of perturbed systems are formulated. Noting the deficiency of such an approach, the author formulates new practical stability criteria in terms of the original unperturbed systems for equilibrium points.
