Let \(\Omega \subset {\mathbb R}\) be a bounded interval, and \(\varphi: \Omega \mapsto X = \{0, 1\}^{\mathbb N}\) be a binary coding of \(\Omega\). Denote the Lebesgue measure of \({\mathbb R}\) by \(\lambda\). The author proves that, if \(\mu = \lambda \circ \varphi^{-1}\) is Gibbs with respect to some function \(f\) on \(X\), then for every \(F \subset \Omega\), \(\dim_{\text{H}} F = \dim_{\mu} (\varphi(F)).\)
