Using the saddle point theorem and Maslov-type index for linking critical points, several results of existence for subharmonic solutions of periodic Hamiltonian systems are proved. These results appear as generalizations of similar properties from \textit{I. Ekeland} and \textit{H. Hofer} [Commun. Pure Appl. Math. 40, 1-36 (1987; Zbl 0601.58035)] but without the convexity condition.
