A difference-differential analogue of the Burgers equation and some models of economic development (Q1576870)

The paper gravitates around the system of ordinary differential equations \[ {dF_k\over dt}= \varphi(F_k)(F_{k- 1}- F_k),\quad k= 1,\dots, n, \] whose various forms have both economic and physical significance. Stability and other qualitative properties are analyzed. Connections with discretized forms of Burgers equation are suggested.
