Let \(X\) be a paracompact and \(Y\) a complete metric space endowed with a Michael convex structure. For a closed and convex-valued multifunction \(F:X\multimap Y\), which is lsc, and for a compact-valued, usc multifunction \(G:X\multimap Y\), the existence of a compact and convex-valued continuous multiselector \(H:X\multimap Y\) such that \(G(x)\subset H(x)\subset F(x)\), \(x\in X\), is exhibited. The construction is somewhat more immediate than in the corresponding result of \textit{G. M. Nepomnyashchij} [Sib. Math. J. 26, 566-572 (1986); translation from Sib. Mat. Zh. 26, No. 4(152), 111-119 (1985; Zbl 0589.54028)]. The approximation of an \(F\) as a limit of increasing sequence of compact and convex-valued continuous multifunctions in case when \(X\) is additionally perfectly normal is also presented.
