In the context of the importance of the theory of invariance under a transformation group [cf. \textit{H. Helson}, ``Harmonic Analysis'', 2nd ed., Texts and Readings in Math., New Delhi (India) (1995; Zbl 0951.43001)], the authors characterize generalized functions including distributions and ultradistributions, which are rotation invariant and homogeneous. In pursuing the study, the whole Euclidean space \(\mathbb{R}^n\) is considered with \(u\) as an ultradistribution in it. Having projected proper definitions and references for ultradistributions, ultradifferentiable functions, topologies of spaces of ultradifferentiable functions and homogeneity and spherical average for the generalized functions, the authors characterized rotation invariant ultradistributions with support at origin. Two theorems are established to investigate the said problems; in the first one, the existence of an entire function on the complex plane is discussed in the light of \(\mathbb{R}^n\), the Laplace operator and Dirac measure, while in the second theorem the homogeneous rotation invariance is discussed under certain valid restrictions. In the reviewer's opinion references [\textit{H. Komatsu} (1973, 1977) and \textit{C. S. Hers} (1979)], cited in this paper, may be found important readings to extend the works of the authors to possibly wave scattering problems and the wavelet integral transforms.
