Within this paper a micromechanic theory is set forth for classical, or Love-Kirchhoff, plate. A generalized eigenstrain theory is proposed in eigen-curvature formulation, which can be viewed as an analogue of eigenstrain formulation in linear elasticity. This thin plate version of micromechanics turns out to be capable of dealing with heterogeneous inclusions whose size is comparable with the plate thickness.
