The paper concerns the minimax equality \(\sup_{t\in T}\inf_{x\in X}f(x,t)=\inf_{x\in X}\sup_{t\in T}f(x,t)\) where \(f:X\times T\to R\) is \(t\)-concave on a subinterval \(T\) of \(R\), but is not necessarily \(x\)-convex on a convex subset \(X\) of a linear space. Instead, \(X\) is a metrizable compact space and every \(x\)-local minimum is also an \(x\)-global minimum. In this setting, the minimax equality has been established in case \(f\) is \((x,t)\)-continuous [see \textit{O. Yu. Borenshtejn} and \textit{V. S. Shul'man}, Mat. Zametki 50, No. 1, 139-141 (1991; Zbl 0739.49003)]. Here, it is established in case \(f\) is \(t\)-continuous and \(x\)-lower semicontinuous.
