For interpolation couples \([E_0, E_1]\), \([F_0, F_1]\) of complex Banach spaces and real valued Banach function spaces \(X_i(\mu),\) \(Y_i(\nu)\) \((i=0,1)\) that are 2-concave, the authors consider the vector-valued function spaces \(V_i=X_i(E_i)\), \(W_i=Y_i (F_i)\) and show that under some conditions, the formation of injective tensor products commutes with complex interpolation, i.e., \([V_0 \hat\otimes_\varepsilon W_0, V_1\hat\otimes_\varepsilon W_1]_\theta=[V_0, V_1]_\theta\hat\otimes_\varepsilon [W_0, W_1]_\theta\) (topologically) for \(0<\theta<1\). This holds, e.g., if \(E_i', F_i'\) are type 2 spaces. This extends earlier results of \textit{O. Kouba} [J. Funct. Anal. 96, No. 1, 38-61 (1991; Zbl 0753.46037)] the proof uses factorization methods and more explicit estimates in the case where the \(V_i\) are finite dimensional, \(W_i=l^2\).
