The quantities under consideration are the correlation functions of a two parameter family of probability measures defined on Young diagrams (partitions). An explicit determinant formula for the \(n\)-point correlation function is given involving a certain \(2\times 2\) matrix kernel with scalar resolvent kernels as entries. This is not surprising as the structure of the probability measure is familiar from the theory of solvable statistical mechanical models of two-component log-potential Coulomb systems. What is surprising is that these resolvent kernels have an evaluation in terms of the Gauss hypergeometric function. The structure of the latter formulas allow for the identification of the matrix kernel as a discrete integrable operator, generalizing the notion of a continuous integrable operator due to Its, Izergin, Korepin and Slavnov. The hypergeometric kernel scales to kernels known from recent studies in combinatorics, in particular giving the Meixner kernel.
