Tilings on flat tori and other euclidean space forms were studied and classified to some extend, subject to various extra conditions, in papers by \textit{W. Kurth} [Discrete Math. 61, 71-83 (1986; Zbl 0594.05037)], \textit{M. Senechal} [Discrete Comp. Geom. 3, 55-72 (1988; Zbl 0627.05046)] and \textit{C. Thomassen} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 323, 605-635 (1991; Zbl 0722.05031)]. The present paper particularly aims at a classification of tilings on the torus of type \(\{3,6\}\), \(\{4,4\}\), \(\{6,3\}\) by congruent tiles up to affine equivalence. Each tiling is determined up to a shift by its set of rotation numbers and its multiplicity. Criteria are given for two tilings to be affine images of each other. The relationship with regular toroidal maps in the sense of Coxeter is also discussed.
