Frobenius splitting in characteristic zero and the quantum Frobenius map (Q1582742)

The authors prove that Lusztig's Frobenius map (for quantum groups at roots of unity) can be, after dualizing, viewed as a characteristic zero lift of the geometric Frobenius splitting of \(G/B\) (in char \(p>0\)) introduced by \textit{V. B. Mehta} and \textit{A. Ramanathan} [Ann. Math. (2) 122, 27-40 (1985; Zbl 0601.14043)].
