Aperiodicity in quantum affine \(\mathfrak g\mathfrak l_n\) (Q1585478)

In [Duke Math. J. 61, No. 2, 655-677 (1990; Zbl 0713.17012)], \textit{A. A. Beilinson, G. Lusztig} and \textit{R. MacPherson} gave a geometric approach to the construction of the quantized enveloping algebra of \(\mathfrak{gl}_n\); in this paper the author considers an extension of this approach to the case of the quantum affine \(\mathfrak{gl}_n\). In the case of quantum \(\mathfrak{gl}_n\) with parameter \(q\), the geometric approach gives a sequence of quotient algebras, realized as the space of invariant functions on a set of pairs of filtrations in a vector space over the finite field \(F_q\). In the affine situation, the analogous algebra maps are not surjective, and the main results of this paper are concerned with a description of the images of these maps.
