The paper is concerned with the logistic map with quasiperiodic modulation of the parameter \(\alpha,\) \[ \begin{aligned} x_{n+1}&=\alpha[1+\varepsilon\cos 2\pi\Theta_n]x_n(1-x_n),\\ \Theta_{n+1}&=\Theta_n+\omega \bmod 1, \end{aligned} \] where \(\omega\) is taken to be an irrational number. Some of the transitions that occur in this system are studied: from strange nonchaotic attractors (SNAs) to SNAs and from SNAs to chaos. In all these transitions the nontrivial Lyapunov exponent appears to be a good order-parameter, while its fluctuations and the distributions of finite-time exponents provide additional information for these transitions.
