Quadratic functional equations of Pexider type (Q1586743)

The author solves the functional equations of Pexider type: (i) \( f_1 (x+y) = f_2 (x-y) = 2 f_3 (x) + 2 f_3 (y)\); (ii) \( f_1 (x-y-z) + f_2 (x) + f_3 (y) + f_4 (z) = f_5 (x-y) + f_6 (y+z) + f_7 (z-x) \); (iii) \( f_1 ( x+ y+z) + f_2 (x-y+z) + f_3 (x+y-z) + f_4 (-x+y+z) = 4 f_5 (x) + 4f_6 (y) + 4 f_7 (z)\) for unknown functions between vector spaces over fields of characteristic different from 2. All these equations are related to the classical quadratic equation.
