The system of real valued 3-dimensional Maxwell-Bloch equations are considered. Its trajectories evolve on a cylinder. A feedback control is employed, and the Maxwell-Bloch system with the feedback control appears to be nonlinear stable about the origin. Its trajectories tend towards the set of two points on the cylinder. For the system restricted to the above-mentioned cylinder, one of these points is an equillbrium point which is locally asymptotically stable and the other one is a saddle point. If the other type of control is employed, then the trajectories evolve on a paraboloid and the description of stability picture for the system restricted to this paraboloid is an open problem.
