The volume of a tetrahedron \(T\) in Euclidean 3-space is represented -- in a symmetrical way -- in terms of the six dihedral angles \(\alpha_i\) \((i=1,\dots,6)\) between the faces of \(T\), and of the radius \(R\) of the sphere circumscribing \(T\). Using this general formula, \(\text{vol}(T)\) is expressed by \(R\) in the special cases of a regular tetrahedron \((\cos \alpha_i =1/3;\;i=1,\dots,6)\) and of three types of Coxeter tetrahedra (each of them representing a group generated by reflections and having dihedral angles \(\alpha_i= \pi/4\) and/or \(\pi/3\) and/or \(\pi/2\).) The author does not enter into the particulars of the fact that the six dihedral angles of a tetrahedron obviously are not independent.
