A doubly-periodic meromorphic analog of the Cauchy kernel is constructed in terms of the Weierestrass sigma-function, namely \[ \omega(q,\tau)\,d\tau = \frac{\sigma(\tau - q + \sum\limits_{k=1}^{n}(a_k - b_k))} {\sigma(\sum\limits_{k=1}^{n}(a_k - b_k))} \prod\limits_{k=1}^{n} \frac{\sigma(q - b_k) \sigma(\tau - a_k)} {\sigma(\tau - b_k) \sigma(q - a_k)} \frac{d\tau}{\sigma(\tau - q)}. \] Here \(a_k, k=1,\ldots,n (b_k, k=1,\ldots,n)\) are points of the minimal characteristic divisor of the kernel with positive (respectively, negative) multiplicities. Using this kernel an exact (in terms of Weierstrass sigma-function) inversion formula for the integral operator \[ \frac{1}{\pi i} \int\limits_{L} \omega(t,\tau)\phi(\tau)\,d\tau \] is found in the case of simplest (dividing or non-dividing) contour \(L\).
