    An \((A,B)\)-model \((A(\cdot) \in L_{p}(T, \mu , L(R^{n},R^{n})), B(\cdot) \in L_{p}(T, \mu , L(R^{m},R^{n})))\) is determined to extract the class of linear systems \(\dot{x} (t)= A(t)x(t)+B(t)u(t)\). Let \(\Pi =AC(T,R^{n}) \times L_{p''}(T, \mu, R^{m})\), where \(AC(T,R^{n})\) is the manifold of all functions with values in \(R^{n}\) absolutely continuous on \(T\). A set \(P \subset \Pi\) is OLD-compatible if either \(P= \emptyset\) or \(\text{Span }P\) is a subset of \(K\)-solutions. The following characterizations of extensions of OLD-compatible sets are established: 1. For subspaces \(\Omega_{E}\) and \(\Omega_{(x^{*}_{\bot},u^{*}_{\bot})}\) the inclusion \(\Omega_{E} \oplus \Omega_{(x^{*}_{\bot},u^{*}_{\bot})} \supset \Omega_{E} + \Omega_{(x^{*},u^{*})}\) holds. 2. Let \(T_{0} = \{ t \in T |(x^{*}_{\bot}(t),u^{*}_{\bot}(t)) = 0 \}\) and \(\chi\_{}( \cdot)\) be the characteristic function of the set \(T \backslash T_{0}\). Then \(\Omega_{E} \oplus \Omega_{(x^{*}_{\bot},u^{*}_{\bot})} \subset \Omega_{E} + \Omega_{(x^{*},u^{*})}\) if and only if \(\Lambda_{(x^{*}_{\bot}, u^{*}_{\bot})} \subset \chi\_{} \Lambda_{(x^{*},u^{*})}\), where \(\Lambda_{(x^{*},u^{*})}\) is the family of all signalling functions for the characteristic element \((x^{*},u^{*})\). Thus \(\Omega_{E} \oplus \Omega_{(x^{*}_{\bot},u^{*}_{\bot})} = \Omega_{E} + \Omega_{(x^{*},u^{*})}\) if and only if \(\Lambda_{(x^{*}_{\bot}, u^{*}_{\bot})} = \chi\_{} \Lambda_{(x^{*},u^{*})}\). 3. Let \(P^{*} \subset \text{Span } P_N\) be a linear OLD-compatible set, \(E^{*} = \{(x_{i}, u_{i}) |i = 1, 2, \dots \}\) be its algebraic basis, \((x^{*},u^{*}) \in P_{N}\), \({\alpha}_{i} : T \to R\) \((i= 1,2, \dots)\) be functions determined by the presentation \((x^{*}(t),u^{*}(t)) = \sum _{i} {\alpha}_{i}(t)(x(t),u(t))_{i}\), where in fixed point \(t \in T\), \({\alpha}_{i}(t)=0\) for all except of \(\dim\text{Span} \{(x(t),u(t))_{i} |(x, u)_{i} \in E^{*} (i=1,2, \dots) \}\) values of \(i\). Then the set \(\{ (x^{*},u^{*}) \} \cup P^{*}\) is OLD-compatible if the following two conditions hold: a) \(\Lambda_{(x^{*}_{\bot}, u^{*}_{\bot})} \subset \chi\_{} \Lambda_{(x^{*},u^{*})}\); b) for almost all elements \(t \in T_{0}\) the identity \(\dot{x} ^{*} (t) = \sum _{i} {\alpha}_{i}(t) \dot{x} _{(i)}(t)\) holds, where \({x}_{(i)}\) is the first component of the pair \((x,u)_{i} \in E^{*}\). The properties of a countable set of observations \(N\) consisting of passive trajectories only (i.e. \((x,u) \in P_{N} \Rightarrow u \equiv 0\)) are investigated.
