Let \(A\) be a \(n\)-homogeneous (it means that all its irreducible representations are \(n\)-dimensional) \(C^\ast\)-algebra. The description of trivial \(n\)-homogeneous algebras was given in \textit{N. Krupnik} and \textit{B. Silbermann} [Math. Nachr. 142, 175-180 (1989; Zbl 0699.46023)]. In this paper the authors find new conditions for check that the \(n\)-homogeneous algebra \(A\) is trivial. Some applications, in particular to algebras generated by idempotents, are considered. Examples of trivial and non-trivial homogeneous algebras, generated by idempotents, are also given.
