Let \((E_n, j_n)_{n\in\mathbb{N}}\) be an embedding spectrum of locally convex spaces for which the inductive limit \(\text{ind }E_n\) exists. The following assertions are proved: (a) If \(\text{ind }E_n\) is regular and all the spaces \(E_n\) are sequentially complete then \(\text{ind }E_n\) is sequentially complete. (b) If \(\text{ind }E_n\) is sequentially complete and each \(E_n\) is closed in \(\text{ind }E_n\) then \(\text{ind }E_n\) is \(\alpha\)-regular, i.e., each bounded set in \(E\) is contained in some space \(E_n\).
