Nonexistence of some quasiconformal harmonic diffeomorphisms (Q1590923)

As a high-dimensional generalization of some results obtained in [\textit{R. M. Schoen}, Lect. Notes Pure Appl. Math. 143, 179-200 (1993; Zbl 0806.58013)], the main theorem of the present paper gives some conditions under which there is no quasi-conformal harmonic diffeomorphism from a complete manifold \(M\) to \(N\). As a consequence, there is no quasi-conformal harmonic diffeomorphism from \(S^k\times R^{n-k}\) into \(R^n\) with polynomial growth energy density.
