    The author considers the twopoint boundary value problem (BVP) with a small parameter \(\varepsilon\) \[ y''+f(x,y)y'+ g(x,y)+h(x,y) \cdot (y')^2= 0, \tag{1} \] \[ y(\varepsilon)=A,\;y(1)=B,\tag{2} \] where the functions \(f,g\) and \(h\) are continuous, and \(h\), \(f_y\), \(g_y\) and \(h_y\) are bounded for \(0<x\leq 1\) and \(y\) between \(A\) and \(B\). For the some assumptions with respect to the functions \(f,g\) and \(h\) for small \(\varepsilon>0\) BVP(1), (2) has a solution \(y(x, \varepsilon)\) so that \(y(x,\varepsilon)\to z(x)\) for \(0<x\leq 1\) as \(\varepsilon\to 0\), where \(z(x)\) is a solution to (1) such that \(z(1)=B\), \(\lim_{x\to 0}z(x)\neq A\) and \(z\) bounded on \((0,1]\).
