The class of affine-invariant codes is an important class of extended cyclic codes, for example this class includes extended BCH codes and generalized Reed-Muller codes. The automorphism groups of a number of affine-invariant codes were determined by the authors of the paper under review in [IEEE Trans. Inf. Theory 42, No. 6, Pt. 2, 2194-2209 (1996; Zbl 0883.94012)]. Here these results are generalized to codes with few zeros and to primitive BCH codes where the alphabet field is an extension field.
