The purpose of this paper is to establish two kinematic formulae for support measures of compact convex sets (convex bodies) in Euclidean \(n\)-space. The first of these concerns the formation of the intersection, the second formula involves the convex hull of two convex bodies. Both results have previously been established by the author under some restrictions on the two convex bodies. Using recent results of \textit{R. Schneider} [Convex bodies in exceptional relative positions, J. Lond. Math. Soc., II. Ser. 60, No. 2, 617-629 (1999; Zbl 0972.52004)], the author carries out a delicate approximation argument to prove the kinematic formulae for arbitrary convex bodies. For the former result, an extension in the setting of translative integral geometry has been obtained by \textit{M. Zähle} [Geom. Dedicata 76, No. 2, 183-187 (1999; Zbl 0932.49031)], using a measure geometric approach. The author also indicates a general integral geometric relation which is in the spirit of Hadwiger's abstract kinematic formula.
