The authors prove an essential extension of Darbo-Sadovski's fixed point theorem in hyperconvex spaces. Their proof is based on the construction of a compact set, isometric to the hyperconvex hull of its own image via a continuous function and using the results of \textit{R. Espinola-Garcia} [Suppl. Rend. Circ. Mat. Palermo, II. Ser. 40, 129-137 (1996; Zbl 0883.47064)].
