The aim of the paper is to continue the study started by the authors in [Indag. Math. 3, 323-335 (1992; Zbl 0806.57021)] of the Milnor fibration at infinity. In the first part, the authors recall some technical notions related with semitame and \(M\)-tame polynomials and later obtain new topological descriptions of the Milnor fibre at infinity. The paper is well written and contains several interesting examples. The last section contains examples which show that the property of being \(M\)-tame depends on the algebraic coordinate system of \(\mathbb C^n\), when \(n\geq 4\). This contrasts to the case \(n=2\), where by the result of \textit{H. H. Vui} [C. R. Acad. Sci. Paris, Sér. I 311, 429-432, (1990; Zbl 0807.32025)] being \(M\)-tame is independent of the coordinate system.
