Let \[ (S\varphi)(t)= {1\over \pi i} \int_{\mathbb{R}} \varphi(\tau){d\tau\over \tau-t},\quad t\in\mathbb{R}, \] \(P_{\pm}={1\over 2}[I\pm S)\), \(R_G= P_++ GP_-\) with the \((n\times n)\)-matrix coefficient \(G\in L_\infty\), \(R_G\) are considered in the weight space \(L^{p,\beta}= \rho^{-1} L^n_p(\mathbb{R})\) with the weight \(\rho(t)= 1+|t|^\beta\), \(-{1\over p}\leq\beta< 1\), \(1< p<\infty\), SAP is the least closed subalgebra of \(L_\infty(\mathbb{R})\) containing the algebra AP of Bohr almost periodic functions and continuous functions having limits at \(\pm\infty\). \(G\in\text{SAP}_W\) if the almost periodic representatives \(G^{\pm}\) of \(G\) belong to the Wiener algebra \(\text{AP}_W\) of almost periodic functions with absolutely convergent Fourier series. There are given necessary and sufficient conditions for the operators with \(G\in \text{SAP}_W\) \((G\in \text{AP}_W)\), \(n> 1\) to be semi-Fredholm (Fredholm), i.e., to be closed and having either finite nullity or finite deficiency (or finite index). For \(n=1\) this problem has been solved by Saranson and Saginashvili. The sets \({\mathcal N}_G\), \({\mathcal D}_G\), where \(G_\alpha= e^{i\alpha x}G(x)\), \(G\in \text{AP}\) are nonempty if and only if \(G^{-1}\in L_\infty\). There are given the possible 4 configurations of the pair \(\{{\mathcal N}_G,{\mathcal D}_G\}\) consisting all \(\alpha\in \mathbb{R}\) for which \(\mathbb{R}_{G_\alpha}\) have finite nullity (deficiency).
