Modeling of solutions to the heat equation and to the Stefan problem with reducing the dimension (Q1594095)

The author proposes the PDE reduction method which is contrasting with standard Lie methods. Namely, the form of the reduced system is chosen in advance with free parameters, then a transform and parameters which are carring out this reduction are sought. Main examples are some variants of the crystallization problems, in general, on the Riemannian orientable manifolds.
