The authors consider the solution behavior for \[ (\varepsilon I+ D(t)) x'= A(t)x,\quad t\geq 0, \] with \(D(t)\geq 0\). Conditions are given on a solution to this equation to converge on some set to a nonzero solution to the limit equation \(D(t)x'= A(t)x\).
