The author treats an arbitrary differential operator \(L_1\) generated by the differential operation \[ L_1u = u'' + p_1(x)u' + p_2(x)u,\quad x\in G = (0,1), \] on the class \(D\) of the functions being absolutely continuous on \( \overline G = [0,1] \) together with their first derivative, \( p_1(x)\in{\mathcal L}^s(G,{\mathbb C})\), \( s\geq 1 \) and \( p_2(x)\in{\mathcal L}(G,{\mathbb C})\). Under minimal requirements to the expanded function and the operator coefficients the author obtains in the metric of spaces \(\mathcal L^p\), \(p\geq 2\), estimates of the partial sums of biorthogonal series and of the difference of these sums with the expanded function and with this function expansion in Fourier series. Sufficient conditions for equiconvergence of these expansions are established.
