On asymmetry of some convex bodies (Q1597668)

The authors establish that the Minkowski measure of asymmetry of the convex hull of the union of a centrally symmetric convex body \(B\subset E^n\) centered at the origin and a point \(x\not\in B\) is equal to \(2\|x\|/(\|x\|+ 1)\). Here, \(\|\cdot\|\) means the norm of the Banach space whose unit ball is \(B\).
