A design with the parameters of the point-hyperplane design on a \(6\)-dimensional \(\text{GF}(q)\)-space and automorphism group isomorphic to the automorphism group of the Chevalley group \(G_2(q)\) is construed. Moreover \(G_2(q)\) acts primitively on the points and blocks of this design and is antiflag transitive.
